Does this work with livestreams?

Yes. Caption My Event supports common livestream platforms and can output captions as an overlay or separate streamable text layer.

How long does setup take?

Most people can have it set up in under 15 minutes. Our guided wizard and support docs walk volunteers through mic input and stream integration. You just need to run the audio into the computer that you're running the program from. It's that easy!

Can captions be downloaded?

Yes! Once your session is over, just click save. Transcripts are archived and downloadable in your dashboard for up to 30 days. After 30 days they're automatically deleted.

What languages are included in the translation?

Right now we have: English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese, Portuguese, Tagalog, Japanese, German, French, Russian, Hindi, Arabic. More coming!
